Dura International Stadium

The football stadium features an artificial turf surface and provides seating arrangements across multiple sections that accommodate 18,000 spectators during matches.

Established in 1965, the stadium underwent substantial renovations in 1999 and 2011, with improvements costing more than seven million US dollars.

The stadium holds the distinction of displaying the largest keffiyeh in the world, measuring 3,000 square meters, unveiled in November 2019.

The stadium serves as the primary venue for Shabab Dura football club and regularly hosts matches for the Palestinian national football team.

In 2018, the stadium received a new name in honor of Houari Boumédiène, the second president of Algeria, who supported Palestinian leadership.
