The Museum of the Air Forces of the Northern Fleet contains three exhibition halls and an outside area displaying various military aircraft and technical equipment.
The museum opened on August 20, 1976, to mark four decades since the establishment of the first aviation formation in the Northern Fleet.
The museum exhibits detail the contributions of pilots and crew members who served in the Northern Fleet through personal artifacts and documented stories.
Visitors need to arrange their visit in advance, as the museum operates Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
The collection includes rare aircraft models such as the Polikarpov I-15, Beriev MBR-2, and Messerschmitt Bf.109 from different periods of military history.
