The Blue Bridge spans the Obvodny Canal with a length of 23.9 meters and width of 10.25 meters, featuring metal blue railings and granite supports.
The bridge foundations date back to 1780, with an official opening in 1801, followed by a significant reconstruction in 1964 that expanded the roadway and walkways.
The structure contains a bronze memorial plate marking the water level of 3.67 meters from the 1824 flood mentioned in Pushkin's Bronze Horseman.
Located on Makarovskaya Street, the bridge accommodates both vehicle and pedestrian traffic while connecting different sections of Kronstadt across the Obvodny Canal.
The bridge abutment holds a historical staff gauge from 1840, used as a reference point for water level measurements throughout the former Soviet Union.
