Saints Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and Sophia Church at Miusskoye Cemetery

Saints Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and Sophia Church is an Eastern Orthodox church building located within Miusskoye Cemetery in Moscow's Maryina Roshcha District. The structure displays traditional Russian Orthodox architectural elements with religious symbolism integrated throughout its design and appearance.

The building was erected in 1771 during the Russian Empire period with wooden construction as its original form. In 1823, a significant transformation took place when the wooden structure was replaced with stone construction.

The church bears the names of three young martyrs - Vera, Nadezhda, and Lyubov - along with their mother Sophia, representing faith, hope, love, and wisdom. This naming continues to shape the spiritual meaning of the place for visitors and believers who gather here.
