Old Mosque

The Old Mosque features traditional Islamic architecture with a central prayer hall, decorated walls, and a prominent minaret rising above the streets of Ufa.

Established in 1830 on Frolovskaya Street, the mosque became the first permanent Islamic place of worship in Ufa under the guidance of Mufti Gabdesallam Gabdrakhimov.

The mosque maintains its role as an educational center through regular Islamic teachings, community gatherings, and religious ceremonies for the Muslim population of Ufa.

Located at coordinates 54.714722, 55.949444, the Old Mosque welcomes visitors daily and provides guided tours explaining the religious and architectural elements.

Between 1960 and 1994, this mosque remained the sole functioning Islamic prayer facility in Ufa, preserving religious traditions during a period of limited religious expression.
