Pokrovo-Tervinichesky Monastery, Orthodox monastery in Tervenichi, Russia.
Pokrovo-Tervinichesky Monastery is an Orthodox convent in the village of Tervenichi, made up of several religious buildings on a single plot of land. The main church stands near two stone chapels, both built close to a sacred spring.
The monastery was founded in 1991 on the grounds of a former parish church and received formal recognition from the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church in 1997. Since then, the community has grown steadily around this historic site.
The sisters follow a daily rhythm of prayer, icon painting, and gardening that shapes life inside the walls. Visitors can attend services in the main church and watch the community go about its day.
The monastery is on Nagornaya Street in Tervenichi and is easiest to reach by car, as public transport connections to the area are limited. Accommodation is available on site for pilgrims and other visitors who plan to stay overnight.
Away from the main grounds, the community runs a small dependency called the Pirozero skete, built on the shore of a lake. This separate site holds a revered icon known as the 'Inexhaustible Chalice', which draws pilgrims from outside the region.
