Saint Nicholas Skete, Orthodox monastery in Kondostrov, Russia.

Saint Nicholas Skete stands on Kondostrov Island, featuring traditional Orthodox architecture with wooden structures and religious symbols throughout the grounds.

Founded in 1905 by monk Ioannikiy, the monastery represents an extension of Orthodox monastic traditions in northern Russia during the early twentieth century.

The skete maintains regular Divine Liturgy services, religious ceremonies, and traditional Orthodox practices that continue the spiritual heritage of Russian monasticism.

Visitors need to arrange transportation to Kondostrov Island and obtain permission from the monastery administration before planning their journey to the skete.

The monastery calendar includes specific celebrations on feast days when visiting hieromonks conduct services for gathered congregations in the renovated chapel.
