The mansion took its expanded form in the 18th century under A.P. Kazakov, then passed through several owners including military officers and Nikolai Andreevich Sumarokov. Later uses included housing educational institutions within its walls.

The Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society operates from this location and shapes how the building is used today. Visitors can observe how this organization maintains the estate's connection to Moscow's religious and cultural life.
