Utro Rosii printshop

Utro Rosii printshop is a four-story brick building with large windows and decorative details in the Art Nouveau style, completed in 1907. The structure displays characteristic architectural features from the early 20th century with carefully designed facade elements.

Architect Fyodor Schechtel designed the building as a printery, completed in 1907 and soon became the production site for the influential newspaper Utro Rossii. The period of its construction coincided with rapid media development and industrialization in Russia.

The building carries the name of the newspaper once printed here, reflecting the importance of printeries in the early 20th century for spreading news across the city. Visitors can see in the facade the scale and craftsmanship required to produce such significant publications.

The building sits just two minutes from Chekhovskaya Metro Station, making it easy to reach. Today it functions as a modern business center with office spaces, while historic original facades and features remain visible.

The building was designed by renowned architect Fyodor Schechtel, whose works represent some of the finest Art Nouveau examples in Moscow. This connection to a leading architect of the era makes it an important example of Moscow's architectural development.
