The forest park received its official designation in 1958, named after the Gagarka River that flows through the former Razliv settlement area.
The park serves as a natural reserve where locals participate in outdoor activities throughout the year, maintaining Russian traditions of forest recreation.
Visitors can access the park every day at any time through the main entrance located at 9 Instrumentalshchikov Street in Sestroretsk.
The park contains 40 protected species listed in the Red Book and includes a natural bog in its central section.
