The three-story Neo-Baroque building features two distinct facades and a prominent clock tower with convex window glass from Finland.
The academy building, completed in 1865, was designed by architects Nikolai Benois and Pietro Campioni as part of the Petrovsko-Razumovskoe estate.
The institution prepares agricultural specialists and conducts scientific research in agronomy, veterinary medicine, biochemistry, and environmental sciences.
The academy grounds contain 348 buildings, with 18 designated as cultural heritage sites, and maintains laboratories for hands-on agricultural education.
The building's dome is topped with a lightning rod adorned with a gilded figure of Glory, overlooking a formal French garden with sculptures.
