Museum of the novel "The Brothers Karamazov"

The exhibitions show how Staraya Russa inspired the fictional town of Skotoprigonievsk in Dostoevsky's novel. Visitors can see which real places and people the writer used as models for his characters and settings.

The museum is located on Naberezhnaya Dostoevskogo street and is open to visitors during set hours. Guided tours are available in multiple languages, and the location is relatively easy to reach.

The museum displays reconstructions of rooms from the novel, such as Fyodor Pavlovich's dining room and Grushenka's parlor, allowing readers to step directly into the fictional world. These carefully designed spaces let visitors experience the book's scenes firsthand.
