Нерастанное

Nerastannoye is a stone mansion with service buildings and former gardens in Chekhovsky District. The estate spreads across land holdings that preserve the typical layout of a Russian noble property from that period.

Count Fyodor Orlov founded it in 1780, and it subsequently passed through several noble families. After the October Revolution it was converted into a military facility and has served this purpose since.

The mansion displays Gothic architectural features that remain visible today. Its interior once held portraits of emperors and members of the Beklemishev family, reflecting the social standing of those who lived here.

A military unit currently occupies the property, which restricts visitor access and research opportunities. The remaining historical structures can only be examined under specific conditions or through formal arrangements.

The gardens once featured birch trees planted to form the word 'Nadezhda', meaning hope in Russian. This botanical detail shows how the owners incorporated personal meaning into the landscaping.
