Semyonovskoye-Otrada

Semyonovskoye-Otrada is a noble estate near Moscow featuring a grand residence with classical architectural features surrounded by French-style gardens spanning several hectares. The mansion contains numerous rooms and halls decorated with Classical and Baroque details.

The estate was founded in the 18th century when Vladimir Grigoryevich Orlov, brother of Catherine the Great's allies, received substantial land grants. Over following decades the residence was expanded and gardens were redesigned with input from French specialists.
