Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Royal Reserve

This expansive protected area covers approximately 16,000 square kilometers in northwestern Saudi Arabia, encompassing diverse desert ecosystems, mountainous terrain, and coastal regions along the Red Sea that support numerous native plant and animal species.

Established in 2018 by royal decree as one of six royal reserves in Saudi Arabia, this conservation area represents a modern initiative to restore natural habitats that have been impacted by human activities over decades.
