Norsholms herrgård

Norsholms herrgård is a manor house positioned where Motala Stream flows into Lake Roxen, near the Norsholm canal station and the Eastern Main Line railway. The building sits in a landscape shaped by water and transportation connections that have marked the region for generations.

The estate traces back to the 1100s when it served as a residence for the bishops of Linköping under the name Munkeboda. It became state property in 1527 and lost its role tied to the church.
