Sjödalen-Fullersta

Sjödalen-Fullersta is a residential district in the heart of Huddinge Municipality, containing apartment complexes, villa neighborhoods, and the main commercial center. Huddinge centrum forms the hub with pedestrian shopping streets, shops, restaurants, and good public transportation access.

The area developed as a distinct residential district and functioned as a unified administrative zone until 2018. A subsequent administrative reform then divided it into two separate zones within Huddinge Municipality.

The villa neighborhoods of Huddinge villastad and Hörningsnäs villastad show National Romantic architectural styles that shape the character of the area. Walking through these streets, you see how residents have maintained homes that reflect a distinct residential identity built over generations.

Huddinge centrum is easily walkable with multiple shopping streets and dining options spread across pedestrian zones. Public transportation connections make the area straightforward to navigate and reach from other parts of the region.

The Storängen industrial zone southeast of Huddinge centrum previously housed municipal administrative offices and is now transforming into residential spaces. This ongoing conversion shows how the district is evolving to meet changing housing needs.
