Gardens by the Bay, Garden in Singapore
Gardens by the Bay is a nature park spanning 101 hectares in the Central Region of Singapore, adjacent to the Marina Reservoir.
The park was part of the nation's plans to transform its 'Garden City' to a 'City in a Garden', initiated by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at Singapore's National Day Rally in 2005.
It features the world's tallest indoor waterfall and presents a unique fusion of nature, technology, and environmental management.
The park consists of three waterfront gardens: Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden and Bay Central Garden.
Its Supertree structures offer an impressive skywalk over the gardens, over-sized seashell-shaped greenhouses recreate chilly mountain climates.
