Dračí hrádok, Gothic castle ruin in Stupava, Slovakia
The remnants of Dračí hrádok include a central prismatic tower measuring 17 meters in width and 6 meters in depth carved into rock.
Built in the 13th century during the reign of counts of Svätý Jur and Pezinok, the castle served as part of regional border defenses.
The architectural elements of Dračí hrádok mirror those found in other royal castles of Slovakia, including Plavecký hrad, Beckov, and Pajštún.
The castle ruins stand at 370 meters above sea level, approximately 2 kilometers east of Borinka village in the Little Carpathians region.
The castle complex extends over 112 meters in length and features a moat cut directly into the bedrock of the hillside.
