Medická záhrada

Medická záhrada is an urban park located in Bratislava's Old Town with maintained pathways, green spaces, benches, and fountains. The space includes a children's play area and seasonal flower displays that change throughout the year.

The park was established in 1770 and later acquired by Count Esterházy, who transformed it into an important botanical collection. This early focus on plant diversity shaped the character of the site.

The garden was originally created by medical students, and its name still reflects this academic connection. Today it serves as a meeting place and study space where students continue to gather.

The park is near Americké námestie station and is accessible by multiple trams and buses. Visitors will find well-paved pathways that are easy to navigate.

The site operates a tea room serving specialty drinks like iced Matcha with fresh orange juice and other beverages. This cafe offers a quiet retreat in the middle of the urban surroundings.
