Thai Army Sports Stadium

The Thai Army Sports Stadium is a sports facility with capacity for about 20,000 spectators and multiple playing areas. The complex features a grass playing field, tennis courts, petanque courts, and a boxing training facility.

Construction of the complex began in 1968 and was completed in 1970 as a military sports facility. It developed into a central venue for Royal Thai Army competitions and national sporting events.

The stadium serves as a gathering place for Royal Thai Army athletes and internal military competitions. Visitors can observe how sports play an important role in the organization and identity of Thailand's armed forces.

The stadium complex sits on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road in the Samsen Nai area and connects easily to Bangkok's public transportation network. Note that the venue primarily serves military events, so public access may be limited during competitions.

The stadium hosted Thailand's first monster truck show in 1994, an unusual event for a military sports complex. The venue has also attracted major international musicians for concert performances over the years.
