Ton Son Mosque

The brick and concrete structure features a design that combines Islamic elements with traditional Thai architectural influences in its construction and decoration.

Built between 1610 and 1628, the religious building started as a teak house with terracotta tiles before undergoing renovations during King Rama II period.

The interior contains a decorated pulpit with Arabic calligraphy, Kaaba representations, and a plan of the Mecca mosque that reflects Islamic artistic traditions.

Located near the Khlong Bangkok Yai canal, the mosque maintains regular prayer schedules and welcomes visitors interested in religious architecture studies.

A graveyard outside the mosque serves as the final resting place for numerous Thai Muslim leaders through different historical periods.
