Wat Sao Thong Thong

Wat Sao Thong Thong is a Buddhist temple in Tha Hin featuring a restored Viharn with a large Buddha statue called Luang Po To as its centerpiece. The complex displays multiple sandstone figures in Khmer style throughout its grounds.

During the reign of King Narai in the 17th century, this temple served as a diplomatic venue welcoming Persian ambassadors. This period left its mark on the site, reflecting Thailand's early connections with distant foreign powers.
