Naval Dockyard Department

The Naval Dockyard Department is a shipyard facility in Siri Rat with extensive repair operations stretching along the Chao Phraya River. The yard contains workshops for steel ship construction and specialized areas for maintaining different vessel types.

The facility was founded in 1890 under King Chulalongkorn, when a wooden dock marked the start of naval ship maintenance operations. Over time, the operation grew into a modern establishment with expanded capabilities.
