The mountain reaches an elevation of 498 meters and features a 3.7-kilometer hiking path through dense forest and limestone formations.
The mountain earned its name 'Dragon Crest' from the local community due to its ridgeline shape that forms a pattern similar to a dragon's back.
Local rangers maintain the trail and educate visitors about the mountain's ecosystem, emphasizing the preservation of natural resources for future generations.
Hikers must register at Hat Noppharat Thara National Park entrance between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, bringing two liters of water per person.
The summit presents views of Railay Beach, Ao Nang, and multiple islands including Koh Yao Yai and Noi across the Andaman Sea.
