Wat Khangkhao, Buddhist temple in Bang Phai, Thailand.
The temple stands on the western bank of the Chao Phraya River, featuring an ordination hall decorated with sixteen red sema stones.
The temple's construction dates back to King Trailok's reign during the 15th century Ayutthaya period and received historic site status in 1993.
Inside the ordination hall stands Luang Pho Kao, a stucco Buddha statue distinguished by its left hand with four fingers.
The temple welcomes visitors at 138 Moo 4, Soi Bang Phai 10, and requires appropriate clothing in accordance with Buddhist customs.
A Buddha footprint remains permanently affixed to the wall facing the main Buddha image within the ordination hall.
