Çocuktepe Dam

Çocuktepe Dam is a gravity dam on the Güzeldere River near Çukurca in Hakkâri Province. The structure measures roughly 127 meters long and was designed to store water and control the river flow in this mountainous region.

Construction began in 2008 under Turkey's State Hydraulic Works as part of a development initiative in this southeastern region. The project forms part of a broader infrastructure program for border areas.
