South Thanet is a parliamentary constituency covering the southern part of the Isle of Thanet in Kent, encompassing the coastal towns of Ramsgate and Broadstairs along with the historic town of Sandwich inland. The constituency was created in 1983 during a parliamentary boundary reorganization that reshaped electoral divisions in the area. It was dissolved in 2024 when new constituency boundaries took effect, ending nearly four decades of representation under this name.
