Broomhall, Category A listed building in Dunfermline, Scotland

The residence features a semi-circular bay on the south front decorated with Coade Stone panels depicting reclining figures in Grecian architectural style.

Initially constructed in 1702 to designs by Sir William Bruce, the house underwent modifications by John Adam in 1766 and Thomas Harrison in 1796.

The interior displays collections of furniture, paintings, and fragments of marbles gathered by the 7th Earl of Elgin during his travels.

Located three miles southwest of Dunfermline, the house serves as a venue for private tours and small group events with direct access to collections.

The building contains the Sword of State of King Robert the Bruce and maintains a museum presenting rotating exhibitions of photographs, prints, and artifacts.
