KOKO, Historic entertainment venue in Camden Town, England
The building features an ornate Baroque architectural design with a copper dome and elaborate decorative elements throughout its multiple performance spaces and levels.
The Camden Theatre opened on December 26, 1900, under the direction of architect W.G.R. Sprague, serving initially as a traditional stage venue for theatrical productions.
The venue transformed from a theatre to a cinema, then a BBC radio studio where The Goon Show broadcasts took place, before becoming a music venue.
Located near Mornington Crescent station, KOKO accommodates 1,410 people during live performances and maintains regular programming of concerts and electronic music events.
Following a 2020 fire that damaged its copper dome, KOKO underwent a complete renovation and reopened in 2022 with an Arcade Fire performance.
