Bellahouston Park, Public park in Glasgow's Southside, Scotland.
Bellahouston Park extends across 169 acres of land, featuring winding paths, rolling lawns, sculpture gardens, and recreational areas for diverse outdoor activities.
The Glasgow Corporation purchased this land in 1895 for £50,000, transforming the former Maxwell Estate farmland into a public park that opened in 1896.
The House for an Art Lover, constructed in 1996 from Charles Rennie Mackintosh's 1901 designs, functions as a center for visual arts within the park.
The park contains multiple sports facilities, including tennis courts, a swimming pool, a ski center, and numerous paths suitable for running and walking.
The park maintains a sculpture garden with metal installations, mirror structures, and a clay elephant that form part of an interactive exploration space.
