Bluestonehenge, Archaeological site in United Kingdom
Bluestonehenge, also known as Bluehenge, is a prehistoric henge dating to around 3000 BC.
It is thought to be related to the nearby Stonehenge and may have been used for ceremonial purposes.
The site is part of the rich tapestry of Neolithic monuments within the Wiltshire region.
Located near the River Avon, studies suggest it once held a circle of blue stones.
Unlike its famous neighbor Stonehenge, Bluestonehenge was not discovered until 2009.
