Cadwell Park, Motorsport racing track in Lincolnshire, United Kingdom
Cadwell Park is a motorsport racing track near the town of Louth in Lincolnshire, eastern England. The course winds through hilly terrain with tight corners and sharp elevation changes that create a technical challenge for riders and drivers.
The site opened in 1934 when Mansfield Wilkinson converted estate drives into a motorcycle racing course on unpaved surfaces. During the 1950s the track gained a paved surface and began hosting car races alongside motorcycle events.
The track is best known for motorcycle events and draws fans from across Britain during race weekends throughout the summer months. Many visitors return year after year because the open paddock layout allows close interaction with riders and teams.
The track operates from March through November and hosts race meetings alongside open days for motorcycle and car enthusiasts. Visitors can walk through much of the paddock area during events and watch from several viewing points around the course.
One steep climb causes motorcycles to briefly leave the ground during races, creating a moment that spectators wait for at every event. This section has become one of the most photographed features at any British racing venue.
