The Victoria Memorial is a monument to Queen Victoria, located at the end of The Mall in London.
It was created by sculptor Sir Thomas Brock in 1911 and erected in front of the main gates at Buckingham Palace.
The memorial represents the height of the British Empire with figures symbolizing courage, constancy, victory, charity, truth and motherhood.
The memorial is a popular tourist attraction and offers great photo opportunities.
The whole sculpture is gilded in 23.5 karat gold.
