Clarence House, Royal residence in London

Clarence House is a British royal residence on The Mall in the City of Westminster, London.

Built between 1825 and 1827 to a design by John Nash, it has been the home of various members of the British Royal Family.

The house is named after King William IV, who was known as the Duke of Clarence before his ascension to the throne.

It's open to the public for approximately one month each summer.

Clarence House also provides office accommodation for The Prince of Wales's Household.
