Henry Moore Sculpture Perry Green, Sculpture garden in Perry Green, United Kingdom
Henry Moore Sculpture Perry Green is a 70-acre sculpture garden where large bronze works are positioned across rolling fields. The pieces interact with the natural landscape, with pathways guiding visitors through different viewing positions.
Moore settled at Hoglands farmhouse in 1940 and later turned the grounds into an exhibition space for his works. After his death in 1986, the estate was transformed into a public site showing how he lived and created.
The Aisled Barn displays Moore's textile works while the preserved studios show how he worked across drawing, etching, carving, and model making. Walking through these spaces reveals the different techniques he practiced throughout his career.
The site is open from March to August and visitors need to book in advance. The grounds feature clear paths connecting the sculptures, studio buildings, and exhibition spaces throughout the property.
Moore collected natural objects like stones and bones, keeping them in his living space at Hoglands as sources of artistic inspiration. These gathered items remain displayed in the rooms where he lived.
