Runnymede, Meadow in England
Runnymede is a water-meadow alongside the River Thames in the English county of Surrey.
It is notable for its association with the sealing of Magna Carta on 15 June 1215.
Runnymede is the site of several memorials, including those dedicated to John F. Kennedy and the British Commonwealth Air Forces.
The area is open to the public and includes walking trails and picnic areas.
Runnymede is home to one of the few remaining Lutyens war memorials.
