Devil's Bridge, Medieval bridge complex in Ceredigion, Wales.

Three bridges span across the Mynach River gorge, with each structure built in different centuries, creating a vertical architectural sequence.

The original stone bridge was constructed between 1075 and 1200, followed by additional bridges in 1753 and 1902 to accommodate increased traffic.

Welsh folklore tells of the Devil building the first bridge in exchange for a soul, but a woman tricked him by sending her dog across first.

Visitors can access the bridges through two marked paths, with a coin-operated turnstile leading to the Devil's Cauldron viewing platform.

The Vale of Rheidol Railway terminates at Devil's Bridge station, offering steam train connections to the coastal town of Aberystwyth.
