Bridlington Priory, Grade I listed church in Bridlington, England
The Priory Church of St Mary features two western towers of different architectural styles and spans over 900 years of religious heritage in Yorkshire.
Founded in 1101 by Walter de Gant, the Priory became one of the earliest Augustinian establishments in England and expanded through royal land grants.
The church maintains a collection of medieval manuscripts and religious texts that document the development of Christian scholarship in northern England.
Visitors can attend daily services, explore the architectural features, or participate in monthly community gatherings with activities and refreshments.
The church contains a restored 1889 Charles Anneessens organ that required £600,000 in preservation funds to maintain its original sound quality.
