Leckford Abbas, Grade II listed country house in Leckford, England.

Leckford Abbas is a two-storey country house with an attic, built from Bath stone and rendered brick featuring seven bays divided into three sections. The building sits on a level plateau beside the A3057 road and displays modillioned cornices running along its roofline.

The house was built around 1900 by architect Sir Bannister Fletcher. It received Grade II listed building status in 1984, recognizing its importance in the story of English architecture.

The house features an Ionic porch with paired columns and Art Nouveau doors that reflect early 1900s design tastes. These decorative choices shaped how the building presents itself to visitors.

The house sits easily accessible beside the A3057 road on flat terrain. Keep in mind that as a protected heritage building, any changes or repairs require official approval.

A notable feature is the projecting billiards hall on the left entrance front, an unusual addition for a residential house of this era. This specialized room speaks to the lifestyle of the wealthy family who originally inhabited the home.
