The Aberdeen Art Gallery displays more than 700 years of art history through permanent collections of paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts spread across multiple floors.

Established in 1885, the gallery underwent a substantial transformation between 2015 and 2019, which expanded exhibition spaces and improved visitor facilities.

The institution houses works from Scottish creators such as Henry Raeburn and Joan Eardley alongside international artists including Barbara Hepworth and Claude Monet.

Located in central Aberdeen, the gallery maintains daily operations from Monday through Saturday between 10:00 and 17:00, and Sundays from 11:00 to 16:00.

The gallery received recognition as Art Fund Museum of the Year in 2020 for its commitment to preserving and displaying significant artistic works.
