20 Hoxton Square, Art gallery in Hoxton Square, London, United Kingdom

The 20 Hoxton Square gallery occupies a converted Catholic church hall with a warehouse design featuring minimalist lighting and industrial elements.

Founded in 2007 by Alex Dellal, Adam Waymouth, and Richard Graham, the gallery established itself as a platform for contemporary art in East London.

The gallery's first exhibition presented Dutch artist Jaap de Vries, whose watercolors and installations introduced new perspectives to London's art scene.

The location in Hackney's Hoxton Square provides access to numerous public transportation options and sits near other cultural establishments.

The founders deliberately chose to operate outside traditional gallery norms by creating opportunities for emerging artists and young collectors.
