Ashley Hall, Country house in Ashley, England

Ashley Hall stands as a three-story building north of Ashley village, featuring architectural elements from the 16th through 19th centuries.

In 1715, Cheshire gentlemen gathered at Ashley Hall to make a pivotal decision between supporting the Stuarts or the Hanoverians, ultimately choosing the latter.

The collection of portraits commissioned after the 1715 gathering represents a significant documentation of Cheshire's nobility, now exhibited at Tatton Hall.

The property includes Grade II listed structures such as gate piers, a carriage house, kitchen garden walls, and a stable block for visitors to explore.

The hall maintains its original function as a country residence while preserving architectural features from multiple centuries of English design.
