Boston Guildhall, Local museum in Boston, Lincolnshire, England.
The Boston Guildhall features brick walls constructed with two rows and rubble core, representing early masonry techniques from the late medieval period.
The merchant Guild of St Mary, established in 1260, constructed this building in 1390 and accumulated wealth through donations in the 14th and 15th centuries.
The museum exhibits include a portrait of Sir Joseph Banks, who met Captain James Cook during his voyage to Australia, along with archaeological artifacts.
Visitors can explore the museum from Wednesday to Saturday between 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM, with the last entry permitted at 3:00 PM.
In 1607, magistrates at the guildhall detained Pilgrim Fathers, including William Brewster, for attempting to depart for Holland without royal permission.
