Bredfield House

Bredfield House is a timber-framed Grade II listed building in Suffolk with whitewashed walls and a plain tile roof, showing the open hall layout typical of older English houses. The structure consists of an open hall with two bays and multiple extensions that were added over different periods.

The house was first built in the 15th century and later received major modifications during the 16th, 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries as families updated and expanded it. These different periods of work show how the building adapted and grew with changing needs over more than 500 years.
