Catto Long Barrow is a Neolithic stone tomb near Longside in Aberdeenshire. The structure extends roughly 155 feet (47 metres) in length and 60 feet (18 metres) in width, with pink granite stones arranged into several distinct mounds.
The monument dates to the Neolithic period and served as a burial chamber for multiple interments. Excavations conducted in 1885 uncovered two stone axes at the site, now held in the Arbuthnot Museum in Peterhead.
The cairn represents early burial practices of Neolithic communities, with seven distinct stone tombs indicating complex mortuary traditions of ancient Scotland.
The site sits southeast of Longside village and is accessible via the minor road connecting the A952 and A950 roads. The location is straightforward to reach, as the monument stands in open countryside with space for visitors to walk around it.
