Christchurch Park, Public park in central Ipswich, England.
Christchurch Park extends across 33 hectares of landscaped grounds, featuring arboretums, tennis courts, playgrounds, and multiple walking paths through natural areas.
Established on the grounds of a 12th-century Augustinian priory, the park opened to the public in 1895 as the first municipal green space in Ipswich.
The park hosts numerous annual events including Ipswich Music Day, traditional Scout Group Firework Display, and formal Remembrance Day ceremonies throughout the year.
Visitors can access the park through six different entrances located at Soane Street, Westerfield Road, Bolton Lane, Henley Road, Fonnereau Road, and Park Road.
The grounds support over 100 bird species and contain the Reg Driver Visitor Centre, which resulted from a £4.2 million Heritage Lottery Fund restoration project.
