Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Bridgnorth, Grade II* listed church building in East Castle Street, Bridgnorth, England

The Church of St. Mary Magdalene stands with a 120-foot tower, containing eight bells and features a copper-covered roof designed by Thomas Telford.

Founded in 1238 as a royal free chapel for the castle, the church underwent reconstruction between 1792 and 1795 by John Rhodes and Michael Head.

The church maintains active bell ringing traditions twice weekly, during Wednesday evening practice sessions and Sunday morning primary services.

This religious structure houses a Father Willis organ from Clifton College in Bristol and contains a wooden triptych war memorial with Latin inscriptions.

Unlike traditional church orientations, this building stands in a north-south alignment rather than the conventional east-west position.
