The Edinburgh Vaults are a series of chambers formed in the nineteen arches of the South Bridge in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Built in 1788, these vaults were used to house taverns, cobblers and other tradesmen, and as storage space for illicit material, reportedly including the bodies of people killed by serial killers Burke and Hare for medical experiments.

Today, they are a popular location for ghost tours, due to frequent reports of paranormal activity.

Visitors can explore the vaults through guided tours that delve into their history and alleged hauntings.

The Edinburgh Vaults are considered one of the most haunted places in the UK.
