Elmore Court, Country house in Elmore, England

Elmore Court is a historic country house situated on rising ground near the Cotswolds and River Severn, surrounded by gardens and woodland areas. The property contains 16 bedrooms in the main building and a coach house providing extra accommodation, along with a soundproofed events space.

The Guise family was granted this estate by King Henry III in 1262, with an unusual annual payment of one clove of gillyflower. In the late 1700s, Berkeley Guise modernized the property by constructing a large dining room that strengthened its role as a place for entertaining.

The various rooms reveal how this property has functioned as a place for entertaining guests and hosting social gatherings over time. Visitors can observe how different spaces are arranged to welcome people, showing why this house holds importance as a destination for hospitality.

The main building offers plenty to explore with numerous rooms, and the gardens encourage walking and wandering through the grounds. The property is easy to navigate, allowing visitors to experience both the house and surrounding areas at a comfortable pace.

Six treehouses were built in 2023 overlooking wetland areas as part of an ecological restoration project. These structures represent efforts to return portions of the property to more natural conditions.
